New WF Magazine

Writing Forums is set to launch 'Cacophony' in November - an online magazine featuring submitted fiction and poetry. For further details, please check out the Cacophony (http://cacophonymagazine.com/) website.

Challenges and Contests

Literary Maneuvers (https://www.writingforums.com/threads/179022-Literary-Maneuvers-July-2018-Dead-Boys-Don-t-Cry?p=2170825&viewfull=1#post2170825) is a monthly fiction challenge.
Entrants have until the 19th to post a story using the given prompt -
this month 'Dead Boys Don't Cry'.
The winner is decided by a panel of volunteer judges, with marks and feedback given on the basic elements of fiction.

July Challenge (https://www.writingforums.com/threads/178951-July-Challenge-quot-Washing-Bones-quot?p=2170090&viewfull=1#post2170090) is a monthly poetry challenge.
Entrants have until the 15th to post a poem using the given prompt -
this month 'Washing Bones'.
The winner is decided by a poll open to all members - if you enter, you must vote.

The PiP Challenge (https://www.writingforums.com/threads/178948-July-Pip-Challenge-2018?p=2170067&viewfull=1#post2170067) is a unique monthly challenge based on poetical improvement.
After posting their poems, entrants receive feedback and revise their work accordingly, or not. A poll open to all members decides the most improved poem.
