The original, 'Minnesota Berries' was shot on vacation back in 2009. This is just a so-so image in my opinion.

'Peering at the Pond through Curtains' is based on the above image. In Photoshop Elements, there are a number of Distort filters. I used the Wave Distortion filter to achieve this reflection seen out the window. This particular filter is very versatile. What I like about it is that when you change the parameters of a wave, it creates a variety of fiber-type images. I can see in my mind many fiber art images that could be created based on the variety of wave-distorted images. I also made a plaid with this same filter, but this was the outstanding image that resulted from playing with 'Minnesota Berries.'
