    A private story exchange?

For those of you hovering your mouse over. I'm looking to swap a story for private critiques.

And now the more in depth blurb!

OK so within moments of joining I was pointed in the direction of the Fish Publishing memoirs competition and I wrote something last night that I'm prepared to submit, but first I'm after someone with the know how to take a look and just agree with me its read to send off. I don't really want to post it up as I'm too scared that it will some how void my competition entry.

In return I will take a look and give a full critique on anything you want to send me. My story is 1200 words in length.

Is this allowed by forum rules? I'm really really sorry if it isn't!

Let me know if you're interested! (Who says it has to stop at one story, I would quite like a writing colleague whom I swap work with. Family members just don't cut the mustard!)

We do not encourage members to solicit for critiques offsite, in particular with new and unknown members.

The writer's workshop is not visible to non-members and search engines, with the express idea of protecting 'first publication'

And the Fiction board is a good place to fish for critiques, though the pump needs to be primed to produce a suitable flow.
