Anyone see the Daily Show last night? Sportscaster Bob Costas was on plugging a book of football stories. He readily admitted that his co-author worked on the book for two years while Costas worked on the book for one day. But since the co-author is not a celebrity, he was unlikely to get on TV to publicize the book. The lesson: if you know anyone with any kind of name recognition, ask them to put their name on your cover beside yours. You will be more likely to get published and sell more copies that way.
