    Radio Broadcasts in Fiction

So in Chapter Two of my most recent manuscript I have a radio broadcast that I currently have completely indented but it feels wrong to me but so does making it look like dialogue. What do you think forum?

Wouldn't know what to think unless I were to see the section you're asking about. Without that, I'd say it might be worth looking at a transcript of an actual radio broadcast to see how it's done.

Its the formatting of inserting something that isn't dialogue or the likes into a book. I can't put it up here because they won't allow the formatting options. It is just a basic radio transmission currently written as an indented paragraph.

Indented is usually the way it's done for letters and newspaper articles. Stands to reason it should be no different for radio broadcasts. You might want to italicise it too.

Yeah, SamW. has it right- italicize it and you'll do fine.

Regarding the formatting, beyond typing I am about as useful with a computer as your average cart horse, but I do remember talk of a 'microsoft' button that allowed you to keep the original formatting when transferring from microsoft, it was installed in one of the site upgrades. Perhaps some one could point you at it, it might be useful if you are not on some other system.
