A new novel - Inglorious Dame! Advices?

    Salutation.
I'm working on a novel tilted as Inglorious Dame, its about a narcissistic old lady that faces many obstacles in her due to her personality, her narcissism drives her into so many dark places, to lose their loved ones.
What do you think of that, would it be a good subject to work on honestly?
Its my first and I'll be quite appreciated to receive any kind of feedback.
    Good day.

I'd like to hear a little bit more about it before i comment. At least enough to understand the setting and some of the obstacles she faces or will face. Also, what is the source of her narcissism (brains or beauty or something else like genealogical nobility)?

Anything can be a good subject to work with if you do it right and tell us a story from a stand point we've never heard before.

All right. She is a very smart person, philosophically arguing with almost everybody, he narcissism devours her fine features, the obstacles are initially ordinary like losing the loved ones and dwelling into misery, drinking problems.
She hates normal things, she loves new thinks, risks.
Still, she has a conscience which tries to keep the balance between her worst characteristics and her best.
Thanks Nicky, if you needed anything please let me know.

I agree with Nicky that any subject can be a good story if you handle it right. The character you describe would make an excellent antagonist. You will have a challenge making her into a sympathetic protagonist, but it could still be done. You must give the reader a satisfactory ending to the story. If the character is someone the reader loves to hate, the story might have to end with either
    A. the character must die
    B. the character must be punished for her sins, or
    C. somehow, during the course of the story, the character finds redemption and becomes a better person

It sounds like you are already laying the ground work for her inner conflict.

Well I have plenty of ideas about the endure on my mind, I certainly look for the most interesting and promising one.
I have started working on it since like a month ago but I paused it a little so I can save more time for exams, I've profiled the characters and finished good conversation with a strong come-back.
So I thought of doing more researches to learn more stuff and find out more I can add to my work.
What do you think of strong come-backs between characters?
And by the way its my first novel.
