    I'm on a roll

As I said, putting my two books up for sale on Amazon really inspired me. I ordered the proofs of the paperbacks and they should be here any day now. Once I approve them, the paperbacks will be available for sale. They don't update the sales very quickly as my friend John Everett down in Mexico emailed me this morning and told me that he bought "Vengeance" as soon as it came out. John and his wife Debra appear in my book "Goldfish" which is finished but I am saving it, I want to add some things to it. I also know of at least two other copies that have sold but only two are showing so far. I think they total them at the end of the month, then mail you a check.

I wrote over 2,000 words this morning and every evening my wife sits outside with me on a rocking bench with a highlighter and corrects typos and makes great suggestions. I then go back and edit in her ideas into this book.

My current work is at 38,836 words which says a lot as I was stuck and had stagnated for almost a year. It's flowing now though, I want to finish this one so I can go on to "Goldfish Two."

Congrats on breaking out of the block and sticking your stuff up on Amazon It's really revitalising when you know there's a possible audience buying your books, and that can definitely help softening the writer's block.

I went back to work at a new job so my time is limited now, still I manage to squeak out 2-4,000 words a day. My wife feeds me ideas that mesh very well with the story. I am good at writing the action/adventure parts and she excels at when it comes to the women and relationships. We were talking last night, when it comes to the family interaction, it's like I'm drawing the lines in a coloring book and she is coloring them in.
