Hi everyone,

I have an important question regarding a book my friend is writing at the moment.
He is writing a fantasy story and hopes to turn it into a movie. He has currently completed Book 1 and is hoping there will be a trilogy.

We are looking for an agent who can help us publish it as well as help us into submitting the book to movie producers to work on the film for the book. My friend is backed by enough financial resources to move ahead. So please guide us where can we find such an agent who can guide us through the process or if you can suggest some points on what to do ahead.

Additional question: Is it alright for an agent for sign on behalf of the writer to the publishers and movie producers?
