How would I use an MLA citation for paraphrasing mid-sentence?
How would I use an MLA citation for paraphrasing mid-sentence?
Here's how you do it. When referencing a book, place the author, and the page where you got the idea at the end of the sentence where the idea was used.
Example in text:
The moderate Muslims today, Rosenberg argues, can be considered believers of Jefferson, as Jefferson was the pioneer of the rights of the American people. (Rosenberg, XX)
In Bibliography:
Rosenberg, J. Inside The Revolution: How the Followers of Jihad, Jefferson and Jesus are Battling to Dominate the Middle East and Transform the World. Illinois: Tyndale Publishing House. 2009. Page XX (Introduction)
Hope this helps!![]()
