Thread: Little help with a name maybe?

Ok I won't go into grave detail about my WIP, but I have a MC whom happens to be a leopard. In my world leopards earn their names through a test of sorts. Until they take over a territory as the dominant leopard they are nameless. I have a tough time with names for the most part and this one is turning out to be a real doozy. My question is what would a leopard call another leopard? I realize they probably don't refer to each other by a name so to speak but there has to be recogintion. I'm really wanting to stay away from Native Americanish names as I think they are over done. I'm open to ideas and any thoughts you might have would be wonderful. Thanks

OK, since leopards live mostly in Africa, I searched up African tribal names. I thought that using tribal names could give you a headstart.
Here are some of my favorites:

Since you said it was a snow leopard I googled "snow leopard habitat" and came up with Central Asia. So then I googled "Central Asia names" and found this list:
