Which idea makes a better story?

The point is I really want to write abook, in fact I've been attempting to do so for years. As of now I've been given inspiration to write (I'm a huge procrastinator) so I want to know which of these sound more interesting, here's a quick summary on all of them.

Book One: Angels exist. All that talk of guardian angels is the truth, they're real. As it turns out I'm one of them, in fact I'm supposed to save them all from the Unspoken angels; they're the ones trying to end us all, the real things we need protecting from. Even though I'm going to be a Guardian I'm still supposed to be blind to them until the day I become an angel, I was never supposed to meet the one guarding me. But he turned out to be so kind and sincere, until I found out that he lied. I thought I was so smart but I guess I'm stupid for falling in love with someone trying to kill me.

Book Two: Yeah, we're normal. Just like every other pair of twin orphans roaming around out there. Then we get adopted and things become weird. Turns out I can control fire and my sister can control ice. It's all fine as long as it's kept a secret, but I guess we trusted the wrong guy and now we need help in stopping him before he reveals it to everyone. As if that's not enough we have some crazy lady telling us we're the heirs to some magical kingdom. Between new powers, unrequited love, and shitty orphanages. Yeah, we're normal.

Book Three: : I was unhappy, just like over half the population on this planet. I was unfulfiled and had so many unanswered questions just swirling through my head, about the normal stuff. Why was I marrying a man I didn't love, why was I here, and where did I stand on religion. So when he came to me and wanted to make deal I acctepted. I sold my soul for a tour of the after guided by the devil himself. After it was over I had more questions. How were we so wrong, why am I still here, how did I end up falling for someone like the devil, and why in whoevers name am I just alone and more miserable. I suppose the saying is true, ignorence is bliss.

Book three has inklings of "Faust" in it, but Faust is a masterpiece, and I'd be terrified if I attempted to even try to recreate something of Goethe's Caliber.

Book two is very similiar to Comic Book lore. In fact, very similiar to something Marvel would put out. But you could make it work if you built up the relationship with the two siblings right.

And the angels... Como le va? Creé que los angeles existaba por realmente, no que?(That's my catholic side screaming, "I dissaprove!" and then vigorously crossing itself to ward off evil spirits.

I like the concept of book one. It sounds like it could be a good starter for a Young Adult series. What hooked me was the "I thought I was so smart but I guess I'm stupid for falling in love with someone trying to kill me" part. That right there, in my opinion, is a great line. I enjoy reading YA series (I'm 27) because they are a little more fantastical to read than the normal nitty gritty of some Adult books. (I read those too, but YA falls under "easy reading" for me when I want something quick.)

I prefer the first book,it sounds really good, fantastic + love, all that i like.
The second book looks like a Hollywood movie, too "cliché".
The last book, hum, looks like too religious...

I really like the first one. It's a more original story line in my opinion. And the topic of angels is something I've always thought would make a good book.
Two is just a tad cliche, and it would probably take a TON of personal flair to really make it your own.
I really like three a lot, as well. It reminds me a little bit of 'Memnoch the Devil' by Anne Rice, but it's still an original idea that I for one would be interested in reading.

Whichever you decide to write, good luck

Just reading your descriptions, I tried to pick the one I would most like to read an entire book about. The first idea is something I haven't read much similar too, and if done right I think it could be a fantastic story.

The second book is, as other have said, a little too average. The third also seems like it involves too much thinking and not enough doing. Perhaps there is more to that third story, and if so it could be a good project as well.

Which one calls to you more? This is a novel so you are going to be stuck with it for months probably, if not years. So make it something that really fascinates you, the idea you dream about, write scenes while you're driving down the road, have to stop in the middle of eating breakfast to write something...

They would all make interesting books. I understand procrastination. I'm awful at it. And I know if I don't feel passionate about the project it won't get finished. I have 65,000 words sitting in a drawer as proof of that. So pick one that you are passionate about.

The first one seems like it would most readily lend itself to being written and written well, and I daresay that there'd be a huge market for it (if that's what you're aiming for), given the current cultural fixation on atypical story-lines centered around traditional mythologies. The idea is solid. I'm interested in how you plan to execute it, and what angle you will put on it.

I would be most interested between books one and two; mostly two, because (and this is just a personal preference), I tire of romantically inclined story lines easily. Especially after the Twilight saga. And while you did mention the romance in book two, it doesn't sound like so much of the same focus, as in one and three. So if I were browsing, I'd have a higher chance of taking book two home, where I might have to sit and wade through one in a book store for a few chapters.

Your ideas a very creative, and I agree with the previous comments where if you could really put a spin on your worlds or concepts, you would build a very strong following. Its refreshing from all the teen angst being written about presently. lol

And write what you feel most interested in. I realize you might be posting this because you're tied evenly, but I think you'll really know once you've committed to one for a month or two. Like Kat mentioned, you will be spending a lot of time with these characters, and settings. A good fifty percent of which will be filled with bumpy plot holes, long editing hours, and dry days of over-thinking. You'll need a story you're a fan of to properly say, 'I don't mind', to these inevitabilities. Once you've got that, you've got it all. ^_^ Good luck!

Hmm. The first two seem a bit like they're trying a bit too hard. I wasn't sure about the third as I started reading, but actually, it seems very interesting to me. I personally think that there are way too many fire/ice stories, to me honest. The third idea would be more of my style and probably what I would most enjoy reading.

Nonetheless, I would enjoy reading whatever you come up with, my opinion aside. Good luck
