I'm planning a western novel, and I'm thinking in two opposing groups.
1. A gang of bandits (bank robbing, train robbing... killing is also no problem). Some of them loosely based on historical figures.
2. A four-membered group of bounty hunters who are after said gang. They're technically working for the law but just the same scum as their prey. Wherever they ride, desctruction, war and plague follows. It's hinted they're not human.
Now the question, would a bunch of anthropomorphic personofications fit into an otherwise normal, 60s-70s style, "dirty", naturalistic, deconstructionist western? Or should they get two different stories?
