    How to start fictional biography?

I'm trying to write what basically amounts to a biography of a fictitious person.

Any ideas on how to start it to hook people in?

I was originally going to come in halfway through then reveal more about her past through flashbacks, but I'm not entirely sure anymore.
The follow sentence is true: The previous sentence is false.

    Normal people scare me...

It is always difficult to give advice with a minimum of information, but the beginning is the most important bit to hook the reader so you want to make reference to the most interesting part at least, how you proceed from there, flashbacks, a continuous narrative which brings you back to the starting point eventually, whatever, is really a stylistic choice to be made according to your subject and taste.

Flashbacks don't really fit with the genre of Biography or for that matter Autobiography. In both cases you are writing a history. In an Autobiography you are giving an personal account of what you have done and is therefore a memory or recollection. In the case of a Biography you are writing a history in the third person, and so cannot portray a memory as a flashback as a flashback is portrayed by the third person seeing it through the first persons memory.
