    Sending a message of hope.

    Hello all,

I have just had some good news that I'd like to share, not to blow my own trumpet, but to offer hope to all the writers out there who are trying to get published.

I have been writing all sorts of things for many years, but have never been brave enough to send any of my fictioanl stories to publishers.

Last year, I decided to change this, and sent off 3 of my stories to various publications. This was in December last year.

Last week, I recieved an email from one of the magazines telling me that they loved my story and want to publish it next year. Needless to say I'm over the moon!

So it just goes to show that if you seriously want to be published, you have to...

    1. Work hard to write the best stories you can, and most importantly, finish them!
    2. Be brave and send them out there.
    3. Be very, very patient - it took almost a year for this decision to be made!

Good luck all, I know you have it in you!

    Congrats, that's great news!

I'm still a long way off getting published, so it's nice to see others (here) are able to do it.

Let us know when it comes out.

    Good for you.

Go ahead, blow you own trumpet. You had the courage to face possible rejection. Congratulations.
