    A few questions..

Can you base something off of a tv show's storyline? Even if you change the characters around and stuff?

I wrote something on my favorite scene from The Gates. Changed the characters around and stuff. Honestly, it was purely for fun to see how the scene would play out in word form but it did spark some ideas. I'm not holding my breath, because I doubt that I can.. lol

That's generally what fanfiction is. If it isn't recognizably The Gates then I wouldn't worry about it. You get inspiration from all sorts of places.

    Yeah, you do. lol

And honestly, it's a show on a regular channel. So, I've no idea how many seasons it'll last. It may just last one season and die.. may last many. My sister and I are the only ones that I know that watch it. None of my friends have even heard of it, and they are huge vampire fans. Not saying we account for the entire world lol, but I dont know. Like Wolf Lake. I really liked Wolf Lake, but apparently nobody else did because they took it off the air after just 9 episodes. lol

I've always been a great judge of whether a tv show will last. I remember watching the first episode of 'I Love Lucy' and telling my parents the show was so bad there probably wouldn't be a second episode.

LOL I remember I Love Lucy and I remember I liked Mr. Ed better...

Funny thing was, I Love Lucy lasted longer. I think it's pretty much an audiences interest peak.. Majority rules.
