Lightbulb Need some critique and suggestions

    Hi,
I've just started writing my first online novel and some short stories on by blog at www.motley.co.za
Basically trying to write a urban fantasy and really need some help as far as critique and just general ideas are concerned. I've implemented a fairly nice comment system and would love it if some of you guys would check out my work and give me some feedback in the comments. Also, English is my second language, and while I can turn a phrase, I really appreciate it if there are any proofreaders here who'd be willing to give my work a read and post some tips.

Hope you'll help me out cause I've got a feeling it's gonna take some hard work to keep going at it.
Thats it, thanks for those who'd be willing to give it a read (also check out the short story section that I'm trying to use for random ideas that popup.)

I'd say no, not if you want to get it published.
Notebook In Hand Writers (of all sorts including fanfiction), artists, musicians, crafters and anyone else creative are welcome on NiH!

    Ditto.

Subojac, generally, agents and publishers will not consider your work as unpublished material if you have already posted it to a public forum. So, if the intent is to shop it around later for a publisher, be aware it will be viewed as pre-published and 'the sparkle' will definitely be gone.
