Thread: Mythical and Legendary animals or creatures.

Benn kicking around a story about a cryptozoologist. If i were to ask you to name 2 mythical or legendary creatures, what are the first two that come to kind. Exclude the Hydra, please. I am just trying to see what names people come up with. My choices were the Wyvern and the Griffin .....

Chimera and Gorgon

Minotaur and of course, Mermaid.

Elves and the Little People

My Irish grandfather blamed the Little People for any mishap he had, and I personally have watched elves fighting at the bottom of my back garden. I heard of a fellow in Dangriga Town who had fairies dancing at the bottom of his back garden until the Police came.

Unicorns and Dragons

I like a gorgon. I did some reading and the myth has it that blood from the right of the gorgon can raise the dead while blood from the lefrt is an incurable poison. That makes for good story stuff. Someone after the resting place of medusa the mortal gorgon slain by perseus. Search is on and my main character is called in to head a team to investigate. Of course there will be side effects to the raised dead and the poison which are undecided. Now I need a name for the te*m or the agency they work for that investiugates these potentiol biological terrors and problems. Any ideas. Like there is the Event group and the chess team out there already.
