Thread: Is there any good weblinks that properly explain terminology terms like 'privileging'

I'm trying to find something online that properly and separately explains in detail, what
the writing terminology terms 'foregrounding' and 'privileging' mean (as well as similar
terminology terms), but I haven't found anything that helpful on Google, that's surprising.
If anyone can provide a link to anything, I'd be very grateful.

I googled for 'writing terminology' and came up with a few million sites. I'll not list them all. Most are not what you are looking for, but a few seem to come close. Here is one I've bookmarked for myself:

The terms you mention probably have more to do with fiction. I'm not familiar with them, though they look interesting.
