Well, it isn't so much that I'm having a hard time changing the sentence...I just don't want to. I'm writing this story...and every day I read the updates to my daughter, who is 10. This line is something spontaneous that came spilling out of her mouth while she did an imitation of the character and to be honest I laughed my ass off. Maybe you had to be there.... My child can take credit for a measily two lines out of some 45,000 words I have written and I don't want to take that away from her.
Having stirred up so much controversy, I don't feel so bad now having asked the question. I'm sure someone...or a few someones here are correct but I hesitate to take sides.
