Terminator RPG (Story Thread)

So, this is the storly thread. Everything will be slow moving at first, and then we'll get the jig of things and rush to the storyline!

Remember your characters. None of you like Terminators, and there's always a resistance fighters that even hates re-programmed Terminators.

So far we have:

WritersCreed - David Price
Renos Babe - Krystal Lake
Nefieslab - Mike Garon
Wildcard - Lt. Joshua Stone
SoNickSays... - Beth

Beth moved calmly through the hallways as people ran around in panic. Another T-101 had been tracked down, and this one was a fighter. But to Beth, this purely meant another small-time mission. The T-101 was potentially dangerous, but not in any way was it ready to expose the Terminators or murder an important figure (as some have in the past). As Beth walked, she checked her on-board weapons system. The chances of her needing one against an unknowing T-101 with limited skills were low, but she would neeed one ready nevertheless.
Beth stepped quietly into a fairly large room with 3 people in. In front of the Resistance Fighters was a huge computer system with mutliple screens. On one of these screens was a small red dot, among many other green dots. The red dot was her target, and they needed to get moving.
"What are the co-ordinates." Beth asked one of the technicians, giving no emotion in her voice.
The man jumped at the sound of this well hidden synthetic voice. He spun around on his chair, and instantly he was nervous. The site of this particular T-X always made the amateurs nervous.
"Well... he's heading East-bound on Highway 5, and quite fast too. He must be on a motorcycle." the man replied, betraying fear in his voice.
"If the T-101 is moving fast, he has either found his target or found us. The latter is less likely. If he has found his target, we must move quickly."

Not a great beginning, but let's get started

Good luck,
Nick

Mike swore as he heard the motorbike behind him. He pushed the teenager in front of him in the middle of his back,
"Get moving!" he shouted as he spun on the spot, his pistol already leveled at the T-101 as the motorbike came flying towards him and his charge. He emptied the entire clip into the bike's front wheel.
The tire tore open and the bike was sent skidding along the ground. The bike exploded in a ball of flames. Mike pushed his charge in the back again as the lumbering shadow of the T-101 came into view, the fire not even making it falter. Mike swore and pushed the other man harder, making him break into a sprint.
The machine began to accelerate to it's own running pace and began to gain ground on it's traget. Mike swore and took out his other pistol without pausibg for breath and it cost him. The larger T-101 slammed into Mike with a powerful shoulder barge and sent him sprawling to the floor.
Mike swore and grabbed onto the machine's foot as he fell. The bionical hand caught hold and squeezed. The outer coating of the T-101 tore away under the metal grip and the lower casing began to crease under the strain. The T-101 looked down at it's foot before picking Mike up and flinging him across the road, letting the resistance fighter slam into a passing car. The T-101 turned and saw no sign of it's target. It tried to build itself up to it's full speed but couldn't even make it past the slow, purposeful walk. The metal monster began the slow walk to track down it's target.
Mike swore and slumpped to the ground, his back against the broken car, and he flipped his resistance phone out,
"Garon here. I managed to damage the T-101 that was attacking my mark but I'm down and I've lost sight of my mark. Some medical assistance and a mechanic would be appreciated. Garon out."

Beth nodded as the message was transmitted through the spekaers in the mechanical room. Without even looking to see which of the mechanics would follow, she stepped out of the 'abandoned warehouse' and into the parking lot. The only cars in the lot - for secrecy purposes - were old, slow and grimy. Nevertheless, she stepped into the drivers seat and started the engine, and the shaking mechanic got himself comfortable in the backseat, never looking the T-X in the eye.

Beth pulled out of the lot and put her foot down all the way, squeezing speed from the old vehicle like juice from a rotten orange. Highway 5 was not too long away, and she reached it in 10 minutes. However, even 10 minutes was too long. Beth stepped out of the car when they got to the right turning, and scanned the area. The T-101 was out of sight, although there were multiple traces of it's visit. She did notice a car broken down to the side of the smaller road. She quickly approached it, but keeping a realxed step. The T-X peeked behind the car, to see Mike Garon, an important Resistance Fighter.

"Is the T-101 model close by?" she asked, re-scanning every tiny object for any clue as she spoke.

Is the T-101 model close by?

Mike shook his head as the mechanic pulled him to his feet, the glass shards in his back causing him to flinch slightly,
"It went due west down the road but it was going as slow as it possibly could thanks to an injury." Mike sighed as the mechanic began to tinker with his left arm, the bionic arm. Mike shook his body and the majority of the glass dislodged itself from him. He reloaded his two pistols, "Come on then Beth."

Beth did not continue straight away. Instead, she motioned towards the car.
"I will run. To keep up you should drive. It is your choice."
Beth started with a jog to allow the heat to pass to the synthetic muscle in her legs. Once the muscle had been heated up, it worked at full power, causing Beth to run with only the wind as competition. In almost no time, she spotted a figure, at whcih point she slowed down.
She kept her movements as silent as possible, in order to keep her advantage of surprise. The fact that a T-X had been re-programmed and sent to terminate another Terminator would take approximately 2.3 seconds to register into the T-101's system. In those two seconds, Beth would gain the precious upper hand, possibly using her strength as an advantage.
Beth could hear a car engine close by, which also caught the T-101's attention. If this driver was Mike, he had just blown their cover, because at the same moment the T-101 turned it's head to locate the approximate destination of this sound, he spotted the slim female figure of Beth, and her current expression was not a natural human one. The T-101 would surely calculate that Beth was a Terminator, but which Terminator exactly would be difficult. At least she still had that upper-hand.
As the T-101 turned to face her, Beth again allowed the heat to pass into her leg muscles, but also accepted the heat in her arm muscles. She began to run against an alread-charging Terminator-101, her arm drawn back...

Mike swore,
"This is going to hurt like a bit...!" he began but the words were cut off when the car collided with the T-101. The terminator and the car carried on going though before finally coming to a halt when they hit a wall. Mike saw the T-101 slowly pushing the car backwards to free itself from the wall. Mike smiled and held up a grenade,
"Emergency proticol 789 A564F, catch!" Mike threw the grenade and the T-101 recognised the command registration. The T-101 reached out and grabbed hold of the grenade before it could even consider the oddity of recieving the order from a human.
The grenade exploded in the terminator's hand and most of the unit's articficial skin had been shredded. But the metalic eyes were still shining red. Mike opened the car door and jumped out,
"All yours Beth! Blow him to pieces or something!"

Beth nodded as she proceeded towards the T-101. She decided that the surprise was no longer on her side, and so her need for a weapon rose. She scanned her on-board weapon system and chose the most effective one - her primary weapon, the plasma blaster. It was actually a very simple design for her creation date, and one that used minimum fuel. The resistance fighters in the future had problems transporting the previous, much stronger Plasma Blaster, so they charged it down with less complicated parts. As far as she was aware, all T-Xs that had been sent back had had this procedure done to them. Nevertheless, this weapon was a deadly one to Terminators and Humans alike.
As the heat charged in her slowly changing hand, a part of her hand began to spin. As the weapon changed, powerful volts of electricity jumped from each gap of metal in her new weapon, even as it spun. As the T-101 approached her, she gained speed and lifted her arm. It was like being attached to a working car engine. The violent shaking worked strongly on her weapon, but she steadied it easily as it tried to affect the rest of her arm. Beth stopped holding back the blast that had been stored in the weapon, and instantly a large and fast blue ball left her weapon, obviously attracting electricity as it travelled through the air. The T-101 barely had time to register which weapon this was before the blast was on top of him, forcing his strong metallic body back againt the brick wall of the building, and even pushed him further back through the wall. As random bricks fell from the gaping whole, Beth approached the wreck. Again, she summoned her weapon system, this time selecting her primary tool - a spinning saw.
Once she was in the hole, she was ready to remove the T-101's chip.m But this Terminator had already recovered (more or less) and was standing, it's red eyes shining, and the constant devillish grin imprinted on it's metallic skull.
This would be an interesting fight...

Mike swore,
"Don't these things ever die anymore?!" he cried and reached for his larger pistol that had been strapped to his leg, "Let's see how you deal with armour piecing bullets into your skull!"
Mike roared and emptied the clip of huge rounds into the machine's head. Although the T-101 had a strong, metal head it was punctured by at least a few of the rounds. The terminator's reactions slowed and the red grew dimmer, still the machine began to lumber forwards, moving slower than Mike would have thought possible for a terminator. Mike shook his head,
"They're using stronger alloys for the T-101s. Finish it would you Beth?"

As Beth walked towards the slow T-101, she corrected Mike.
"The chip is in the back of it's head. Your bullets won't go that far."
As she reached the T-101, the Terminator lifted it's arms and gripped Beth in a powerful hold. She looked up to the terminator and scanned on her system possible ways to defend herself. The T-101's skeleton was bigger than her own, therefore shaking off it's grip would be a losing battle. Beth could not lift her arm enough to use her primary weapon, nor her tool, and couldn't even insert the cyber-bugs into her enemy. She did, however, come across another method which would not be too difficult to conduct.
In the two and a half seconds she took to scan for new ways to leave the T-101's grip and defeat it (or gain advantage) the T-101 had reached a maximum grip.
Beth sent commands from her chip to the (mostly) mercury metal around her metal skeleton, and let her chip change the temperature slightly. Even in this small change, the mercury liquidized. This caused the T-101's gip to move inwards to her actual skeleton. When his grip was at the skeleton, Beth solidified the mercury, causing the T-101 to be stuck inside her arm. It was quite easy to break from this grip (damaging the T-X) but he did not have the time. Beth swung her body around ninety degrees with as much thrust as she could, and at the same time, she liquidized the mercury again. The T-101 lost the grip and stumbled backwards about a metre.
Beth checked her weapons system, and sent the command to her hand. Very quickly, her left fore-finger grew in length, losing the skin as it did. It was soon a large metal needle. Beth approached the slow body of the cybernetic organism on the floor, and crouched down to it's level. Beth moved her finger to the T-101's neck until the needle had oiecred the skin. Once it had, she released the cybernetic bugs into the T-101's system. Multiple blue pulses came from the top of the needle-finger and plunged into skin of the other 'organism'.

About 10 minutes after the termination of the T-101, Beth walked back to Mike, who was no longer in aid of assistance.
"You should dispose of the skeleton. It is vital no one finds this information." she said, before elegantly walking back to the car.

Mike shook his head and knealt down next to the ruined T-101. His forfinger on his mechanical arm slowly became a small buzz saw and he chopped the left arm off the T-101, it was still stronger than the last one and stronger than his metal arm so he wanted it. Mike then sighed and set down his backpack full of C4 next to the T-101,
"See ya buddy." Mike took the arm before running to a safe distance. When he was a safe distance away he detonated the C4 and the remains were left as nothing but a few springs and sprogs here and there. Mike nodded to Beth,
"Have we got transport back to base?"

The loud roar of an engine cut Beth's reply and both her and Mike turned in the direction of the sound. Already Mike had began raising his gun, obviously expecting the worst, but a relieved smile crossed his face when he recognised the familiar vehicle. A black Mustang, heavily cladded in reinforced armour plates, sped into view. The car screetched to a stop just inches away from where they stood and Joshua Stone stuck his head out the driver's window.

"Sorry I'm late," he said. "Got caught in traffic."

Mike smiled and stuck his gun back in it's holster. He walked up to the other man and slapped him round the back of the head playfully,
"Only you could get stuck in traffic with a car built like a tank Josh." he said as he got in the back seat, "Let's roll Beth!"

When they were all aboard, Joshua did a one-eighty, causing the tires to bellow smoke, and sped down the highway. He looked over at Mike, then back at Beth and the mechanic. Beth sat silently, scanning her surroundings while the mechanic stared out the window with a dazed expression on his face. Joshua turned back to Mike.

"Something's come up. Something big. I'll debrief you and the others as soon as we hit base."

Mike frowned,
"This better be pretty big man. My mark was a commander who was to save a rebel stronghold in the future. If anything happens to him I'm fucked."

"Don't worry. A team is picking him up as we speak." Joshua responded. "You did good soldier. Damned good." He patted Mike on the shoulder and glanced down at the severed robotic arm he was holding. "A souvenir?"
