"EVERYONE SIT DOWN, CHRIS AND CHARLIE REPORT TO MR.JHONSONS OFFICE NOW" Flare screamed into the minds of everyone in the room, some doubling over from the mental screach "I WILL NOT TOLERATE RASISM IN MY CLASS" She watched the two boy's scamper out of her class, Closing off her connection to everyone else she focused on ghost, "Do you need a minute to compose yourself ghost? Please no crying." her voice was soft and soothing, quickly cutting her link to ghost she turned to Jack, "Thank you too Jack"

CHRIS AND CHARLIE REPORT TO MR.JHONSONS OFFICE NOW
James shook his head. He knew it was only meant to be heard by people in here class but sometimes Flare's louder messages would reach him even if he was far away. Call it the power of love if you will.
James stepped into a shadow and reappeared in front of the classroom door just as it opened. He looked down at the two students in front of him. He looked around the class and saw that Ghost, the Russian girl who he'd say he had most in common with, was very upset. He thought he knew why when he recognised Chirs and Charlie.
He snarled, his anger available because of his procimaty to Flare, and gripped them both by their collars, lifting them clear off the ground,
"WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT RACISM?!" he flung the two students across the hallway and they both disappeared through a shadow that lead to his office. He turned to looked at the class, "The next person to intimidate, bully or generally fuck about is going to be kicked out of the acadamy! UNDERSTOOD?!"
He slammed the door shut again and took deep breaths before walking through the shadow and into his office. His emotions left him. He simply pulled the two boys out of the seats they'd been waiting in and stared at them,
"You two are going to learn the Russian national anthem off by heart then sing it to Ghost to appologise. Now I'm going to send you back to class." he shook his head and shadows appeared under their seats, dropping them back into Flare's class. James took his seat and sighed before reaching into yet another shadow and pulling his coffee through it.

Flare didn't flinch as James shouted into her class, she just smirked while still sitting on her desk.

Dru was window shopping. Well, not really, but close enough. She could pretend to look at the merchandise while getting great candids of the people walking by. Especially the kids. If you looked at them directly though, they'd shy away from you, so the reflections were helping a lot more than she'd hoped.
But that was another thing. If you didn't look directly at someone, they would feel free to look at you...and right now, there was a girl looking at Dru. Watching very closely in fact. And following. Her lips tightened with annoyance. Best to see what was going on. She looked away from her current window and stepped toward the nearest cross-street...if you could still call it that. The rubble that half-filled it made it more of an alley. She'd step out of sight and see what her follower did.
Sighing, she moved a bit faster. She wanted to get back to the academy and meet her new students. She'd been out searching for the talented for quite a while and wanted a break...and teaching was the only way she was likely to get one. She smiled, pulling on her power. A trap....

James walked into the melee weapon dojo and sat down on the nearest mat, forming the lotus position for meditation. He reached inside his overcoat and pulled out his long, silver, sword and laid it across his lap. He then threw his coat across the room and unbuttoned his black shirt and threw it away as well. He reached inside the pocket of his trousers and withdrew a small, wooden doll. He closed his fist around the doll and muttered a few words, his shadow powers focusing on the doll. He threw the doll out in front of him and watched as it grew to life size. The doll's face moulded until the woord resembled the proud face of James' father. The father he'd fought most of his life and finally killed five years ago. James coughed a little,
"How have you been father?" he asked in his normal emotionless voice. The wooden man sat down a few feet in front of James and also took the lotus position. The wooden man nodded slowly,
"Death has calmed me son. You have no need of your sword." he said calmly to his son as his wooden eyelids closed on his wooden eyes. James shook his head,
"You were the hourseman, War. Death may calm you but it will not change you father. You were born angry and you died angry." he said and rolled his neck to loosed the kinks in it. The wooden man nodded,
"No arguments there son." he turned his wooden head from side to side slowly and stood up, "What did you want to talk about son? I know this isn't just a regular training match."
The wooden man walked over to a nearby wall and took two swords off the rack, spinning them elgently in his oak hands. James stood up and moved his own blade in circles, loosening his arm muscles,
"It is customary to ask a father's permission to get married. At least in our family it is." they both launched across the room at each other, blades ready to go for the kill. James ducked under one of the blades and blocked the other. They stood there, both already in their guard positions. The wooden man nodded,
"You are to marry the shapechanger?" he asked as he stabbed forwards from two directions with his swords.
"Yes father." James replied as he gracefully sidestepped past one blade and parried the other strike so hard that the blade flew across the room. The wooden man nodded as they both took a step back,
"Then you are truely in love." he slashed forwards with a savage attack that James had to weave to the left to avoid. He countered and ran forwards, slashing upwards with his own blade and was rewarded with a parry. The wooden man nodded again and dropped his sword,
"You may marry her my son. On the condition that you name your first born son after me." said the wooden man, a slight hint of emotion coming through the wooden avatar. James nodded,
"Of course. The child shall be named Edward, just as you were so named." James bowed to the avatar and his father's face disappeared, the wooden doll shrinking as the features of the dead man disappeared.
James reached down and picked up the now pocket sized doll and placed it in his pocket again. He went to get dressed again before the last lesson of the day.

Jack smirked, holding in his laughter. For a potentially horrible situation, that had turned out rather well. There wasn't much to do now as the bullies stumbled back into the room, fear and embarrassment engraved on their faces. The class was still waiting for Flare to start teaching.
He shrunk down to the point where he was conscious of his internal clock and started counting.

Could she? surely not.
The day had started out like any other, Maggie had left her apartment at 8, relaxed in the public park for a hour thinking of stuff to write. After that hour had turned into three, her stomach had forced her to go to a local cafe for food.
Ordering her usually, a wrap and a coffee to go, she seemed to noticed a women. Of course it wasn't just any women, she seemed familar somehow. Maggie's intrest in her was purely for herself. Her only fear was that this women had been working with in during the inccident and somehow had tracked her.
It couldn't be, it was a man... wasn't it?
Quickly Maggie finished her breakfast and began to follow the women, with each step she seemed to become more familar with her. Whoever the women was, she seemed to wear a lot of red and orange.
Couldn't be her.
She tried her hardest to make it look like she was going about her business, but when the women turned into an alley way, Maggie knew that if she followed she would surely be caught out. If she didn't the women would be lost.
Damn it!
Quickly Maggie turned in after the women, however she was gone. A lonely dark empty street lay before her, with no exit but to turn around, so in doing so, Maggie was sent flying backwards as a red flame burst in front of her.
Panting, Maggie clambered to her feet.
It's all too familar. Red and orange clothes. Power of flames. It has to be her.
Swallowing, Maggie gazed into the womens eyes.
"Dru?" she asked raising an eye brow. Allowing herself to use a hand to cause some pain in her hands, thus preventing an attack for a short time anyway. .

Dru let fire flare into the face of the girl who had followed her, planning on using the flash to get out of sight completely, and was stunned to see...such...familiar...eyes...
The girl raised an eyebrow. "Dru?" she asked.
Dru half-stepped, half-stumbled back. "Maggie?!" She dropped her fire to sparks at the tips of her fingers. "I'm sorry...I didn't recognize you. Are you all right?" She let the fire leave one hand, and extended it to Maggie.

((Okay Guys' i need you to take it as you've never seen or heard about Flare's shape shifting, because she doesn't use it much now days.))
Flare sick of waiting for the remainder of her class walked into the middle, "alright people, before we start I want you to take a stab at what my power is. Just guess." She looked around the class waiting for one of them to answer, "Whoever guess' right gets to be my first volunteer"

"Maggie?!" The women was shocked, it was indeed Dru. "I'm sorry...I didn't recognize you. Are you all right?"
Dru let the fire in one hand go. She seemed surprized to she Maggie. Which meant two things, she wasn't following Maggie and her secret wasn't uncovered or she was lying in order to get her to let her guard down.
"Uh huh." She replied with a polight nod. "What are... It's been too long." She quickly embraced Dru. Allowing her eyes to water a little. Maggie's mind raced back to the final adventure she had with them. The excitment, the thrill, the danger and of course the fear. Slowly she broke the embrace and took a step back.
Casting her gaze around the alley, she realise how creepy it was.
"Care for coffee?" She asked smiling hoping she could get as much out of Dru as possible."I know this great place just around the corner."

Jack raised an eyebrow. He almost spoke up to ask what they'd be doing, but then realized that the middle of the room had been cleared. They were going to fight. He smirked and rubbed his chin for a moment.
He began whispering to himself possibilities and theories. In his genius form, he always did this to keep his thoughts flowing. "We've either never seen her power or it's not something that can be seen. More likely that she's never used it in our presence... Seems that that would lead up to her making us guess..." He drifted off into his own thoughts; another side effect of his power. He was daydreaming, but not off-topic.

Raising her hand, Alaine couldn't help but have a moment of enjoyment. She may be mature, but that didn't stop her from having fun. "Putting people to sleep with a single word, miss?" Alaine ensured that the grin on her face was just cheeky enough to advertise the comment as a joke.

Dru was surprised when Maggie hugged her. The girl hadn't been at all that demonstrative the last time...
"Care for coffee?" Maggie asked her, with a smile that Dru hesitated over for a reason she couldn't quite pinpoint as Maggie went on. "I know this great place just around the corner."
Shrugging, Dru smiled back. "Sure. And..." her smile grew, "come to think of it, you're the perfect person for me to have run into. You remember Flare and James?" She walked with Maggie back toward the street, eyes scanning their surroundings with care...even keeping one eye on Maggie.

Smiling back, Dru seemed to notice Maggie's change.
Prehaps I was too foreward.
Sure. And..." her smile grew, "come to think of it, you're the perfect person for me to have run into. You remember Flare and James?"
I can't forget!
Maggie continued to lead Dru down the beaten path. "Of course. How are they?" Maggie's voice was still cheery.
