"Good to meet ya, I'm Curt O'Riely...Lead guitar," Curt spat out.
"All around cock," he continued laughing at his own bad joke.

John smiled,
"And bad joker I see. These two are also in the band. Robbie and Zandra." he gestured to the others.

Zandra nodded politly, "nice to meet you" she muttered before raiding the fridge for something nonalcholic.

Curt nodded to the other occupants of the limo. After he finished his slightly sincere introductions he looked over Zandra's shoulder in the fridge, looked for more drink.
"So were are we hed'ed anyways?" he asked to no one in particular.

So were are we hed'ed anyways?
John shook his head,
"If I could tell you that I would have just taken a train or something... Steve says we're in for a long ride..." he smiled and took out an Ipod nano, "Well no sense in being bored is there?"
He put one headphone in,
"Be warned... I may start singing along. If I do... you may want to cover your ears." he was just about to turn it on when he saw Curt looking in the fridge, "Mate you and I just cleaned out the alcohol. Its still good for snacks and coke though."

Robbie got up from his seat and grabbed himself a coke from the fridge.
He looked over and Zandra and smiled. "Isn't she a nice bird." he thought to himself.
"Hello love, what's your place in a band like this?" Robbie said, taking a swig of coke from the bottle. Without waiting for the girl's response, he continued talking to her.
"I'm McIvor; not the adventure-seeking guy, but the guitarist one. Been all around the world on four worldwide tours. I did not do drugs mind you. I just drank a little bit for a while, to calm myself down before gigs, nothing major like getting utterly tolleyed..."
He looked at John. "Can I borrow one of your headphones mate?"

For a good 10 minutes nothing was said, and it's true when they say that silence is awkward, because this silence caused both women to feel nervous and creeped out. The silence was broke, when Jazzmine's phone began to buzz.
Mum.
Flicking the phone up, she pressed it against her ear.
"Yeah Mum?" She answered trying to sound like she wanted to talk.
"Where are you? The school just called." Her mothers voice seemed that she was braking down, she could almost see the tears rolling down her cheeks.
"I'm on the way home. I'll explain when I get there alright Mum."
"You better." Her voice was furious.
The woman driving turned to Jazzmine.
"Sounds like a nut job," Smiling the woman offered a free hand. "Melanie."
Jazzmine reached out and slightly shaked her hand, before retracting it. Sighing the car pulled to a halt outside a large victorian styled three floor building.
"Jesus hunnie. You got it sweet." Melanie joked.
Climbing out of the car, Jazzmine was pulled into a bear hug, by her mum frantically wailing her arms around, tears flowing down her cheeks.
"You.. You gave me a quite a scare lil Miss." Her mother sounded relieved, but she was unpredicable.
"Mum... MUM!" Jazzmine pushed her off and led Melanie inside. As Melanie sweet talked her mother and provided her with the boring details, with Jazzmine could see drove her crasy, Jazzmine packed her keyboard and several suitcases of clothes and different sorts of equipment that she used.
****
Sighing, Melanie pulled out of the driveway. Relieved that she didn't have to deal with such a lunatic for another few weeks. She was surprized that Jazzmine and her mother were complete opposites. Her mother, constantly cried, became furious, denied Melanies existed and at one stage accused her of breaking up a family. Jazzmine however seemed to remain quiet, as though she wanted more then anything else to leave.
"Your mother signed the permission slip, on one condition."
Jazzmine's heart jumped.
What was it. What did she want!.
"Your mother wants you to ring her, once everyday and the call must last at least 10 minutes. All the cost will be paid for, but if that is broken your going home."
The car stopped. Melanies turned to Jazzmine, her face void of emotion.
"IT MUST NOT BE BROKEN. GOT IT."

Hello love, what's your place in a band like this?
John laughed,
"Shes the bass player and the lead singer mate. She's gunna have a line of men wanting her soon enough and you ain't the first and you sure as hell ain't gunna be the last. Now sit down would ya? How am I suppost to concentrate of stealing a drum solo for one of my songs if you're drawing attention to the fact that our lead singer is a bombshell?" he grinned and listened a little bit more.
Can I borrow one of your headphones mate?
John smiled,
"Only if you like Avenged Sevenfold playing loud enough to burst eardrums. If you do then sure."

The head of musical development for the label sighed as he looked at Gladice's report on the progress so far. The guitarists and the singer were being driven in the same limo for the purpose of 'bonding', the pianist had a controlling mother who took some convincing and Joy Tyler had come back to rock to manage the band. Even so he was still unhappy,
"This is not what I want Gladice... I need them at the manor house now!" he slammed his fist on his desk, making his secretary jump, "We need to squeeze every last drop of creativity out of these people and we need to do it before the end of the year. If we don't the boss will fire me and cut the musical section off the business."
He sighed and massaged his temples,
"We have no time for bonding. We have no time for worrying mothers. We need them all working on the first album immediately otherwise we should just kiss our jobs goodbye!" he sighed again when Gladice spoke up,
"Sir... sir the rythem guitarist and back up singer, John Baptise, has already sent me some advance copies of songs he is going to put forwards for the first album..."
"That still isn't good enough!" the excutive was not impressed, "We need them composing and we need them performing STHP. Sooner than humanly possible."
The excutive sighed yet again,
"They are booked in to support Slipknot in Melbourne in a month. They need at least the first three singles from the first album out by then." he left Gladice to gasp, "This band is yours Gladice and as such you must make sure they succeed. Otherwise you won't have a job this time next year."

Joy Tyler stepped into a black limo as directed by her interviewer. She only had brought one small suit case with her. She stared at the other passengers. "You must be the members of the new band. I am Joy Tyler; managing."

"They're okay John." Robbie said, as he put the left headphone into his ear.
"You must be the members of the new band. I am Joy Tyler; managing."
Robbie looked over at a young girl, carrying a tiny suitcase, as she got into the limo.
"Hello love, Robbie McIvor; lead guitar." he said as he held out a hand to her. It wasn't too bad for him; all of them were somewhat friendly and they seemed quite nice.
"Sit down, relax and grab yourself a drink." he said as he grabbed another Coke from the fridge and undid the plastic cap off of the bottle. Avenge Sevenfold was alright, so he hummed along quietly to the song, inbetween sips from the ice cold bottle.
"Reckon this bunch is the best band I've been in since Black Blossom..." Robbie said to himself, as he turned and looked out of the limo window, and occassionally glanced at Zandra and the new girl who said she was their manager.

When Curt was satisfied there really was no booze left in the fridge he half walked and half crawled towards the middle of the limo. Upon arriving at his destination he flicked the switch on the ceiling and a sunroof opened. Curt then stood up, his upper torso out the sunroof, and lit a smoke. The sun beamed down on his face as they cruised through some expensive looking suburban area, a loooooong way from Boston now, aren't we curt. Yep.

Zandra rolled her eyes, she couldn't stand men hitting on her, grabbing out a can of coke she took her seat just as another person entered the Limo. Thank god a girl.
"You must be the members of the new band. I am Joy Tyler; managing."
"Awsome, Zandra-leigh" she muttered smiling.

John smiled,
"Great to see ya Joy. Heard anything about what the label wants? They struck me as kinda pushy so do they want the first album by... what? July?" he asked absently as he tried the drum beats on his knees. He shook his head after a moment, "Want to listen to something more classic Robbie old boy? Some GnR perphaps?"
