does anyone know..
hi all do any of you know if there is any special writing software for the computer thats allows you more options regarding magazine layouts, images etc. i dont know how to explain really.. something especially for writers i guess to just give more options?

It sounds like you're looking for something like Microsoft Publisher. It should already be on your computer if you've got Microsoft Office.

If you are looking for a more professional typesetting and layout program other then Word, then you want InDesign or Quark. Both are what the pros use for books and magazines. Steep learning curve, but really they are fairly intuitive once you figure them out. If you are a student, you can get them pretty cheap, otherwise, they are kinda expensive.

ah thats exactly what i want, thankyou. i just needed to put a name to it really but that sounds exactly what i would like. my dad has a computer shop so i may see if he can order it. thankyou very much guys.
