The Writer Gene allows all type of fiction regardless of genre within reason: we prefer not to receive erotica or other majorly adult content.
We accept all stories and poems as long as they do not exceed a length of 7,000 words.
If you wish to submit something longer, ie., a novella, please submit the first chapter or 3,000 words and a brief outline of the entire story. We will be more than happy to publish your novella in installments each issue.

I aim to respond to all submissions within 24 hours. You will retain the copyright to your work. Unfortunately as this is a freelance project, no payment is offered (currently) for fiction.
The first issue will be released on May 20th, so for a chance at your work appearing in the first issue, get in contact ASAP.
