Need writers for our new website...
Hey guys,
I'm a web designer/programmer/entrepreneur. I'm currently working with partners on a new project called Muddy Grail.
It's a satire "future" news depot that we're developing. I'd like to invite some of you who would like to contribute your work.
Please feel free to ask questions, comments, critique, etc. We have very little budget, so we're pretty tight on buying rights, but free submissions are very welcome, you get to keep all rights, we just want to get your permission to publish your work. hope this this is not an illegal solicitation. thanks.

I'm going to register for the site. I'll probably make some submissions, too; just as soon as I feel I've something significant to contribute. Of course, when the time nears, we'll discuss the rights to will-be pieces then. I'm just as likely to forfeit all of my rights to a piece as I am to reserve all rights and grant the permission to publish. As it is, I suppose I forfeit my rights to everything I post on this website -- not sure how that works yet -- but that's where I'm at right now (whilst I perfect my craft), so that little fact could prove beneficial to your website in the long run. Anyway, see you there!

...one thing that concerns me: will writers be given the option of publishing a work behind the cloak of a pen-name? I haven't seen anything to suggest this thus far; though, it is just the preliminary... unofficial website. In either case, I like the goal the site seems to reach toward. "Critical thinking" isn't dubbed so lightly; must be some sort of critical asset... I'm only jesting, here, but l8erz!

Thanks Appended for your support. regarding your question:
"will writers be given the option of publishing a work behind the cloak of a pen-name?"
Hope to answer your question....
Your First and Last name will be credited as the author of the article. So whatever name you provide, the system will display as the author. However, if published "Anonymous" the credit will say "by Anonymous" and your "Writer's Background" will NOT be displayed... There is also the "footer" (and of course the "writer's background") option to write anything you wish to disclose which you can edit anytime you wish.
If I didnt answer your question, I'm terribly sorry. I'm still figuring out the kinks and this type of participation is the only way I can fix and fine tune the system. For that, I thank you.

No, you don't. You forfeit first publication rights, as your words here count as published, but you retain all other rights including your copyright.

The V.O.I.D collective has joined ranks with you in the development of a present future.
We have been there...
