I've did a bit of research on this, Mike, and found that JM Publishing are a print-on-demand company which, by the looks of their website, specialise in signs, banners, 3D letters, full colour graphics, vehicle lettering, and awnings and window printing. They're based in Canada, I think. I don't see any reference to them printing novels.

Sam.

It's just my handle ~ nothing less, nothing more...

Hey Mike and Sam,

jm_publishing is simply my handle (nickname), no relation to any company. I am not affiliated with JM Publishing (if you Google'd it).

If you're interested in knowing the "type of company" (related to my post), we're a marketing and publishing company, offering marketing services. Additionally, we produce events, and publish a monthly educational print magazine.

RE: We do graphic and banner design for our own company, but we can do this for other companies too! It's surely in our list of services... [Inside joke between the 3 of us.]

Perhaps I should change my handle?...

Peace & Cheers

I would certainly think so. You can be sued for using a name that's already in circulation.

In Canada? Are you sure? Ever notice how many AAA companies there are? How many publishers called X Press? Not a big worry.

What is kind of odd is somebody calling for interns with elaborate hourly schedule, but not mentioning a little detail like the name of the company. Puts up flags for me.

Please read thread(s) in its entirety before providing feedback, thank you

Sam, You're giving an answer to a question that wasn't asked.

As I mentioned, it's my nickname for this forum.

If I'm not mistaken, that's you asking the question.

Come on guys, aren't we all just panting to work for free for an anonymous enterprise? I can barely restrain myself.

There are a couple of reason's why I'm not listing the company. And man I can tell this is a forum I will never go back to.

1) Universal forum etiquette.

I'm not here to promote the name of the company or get click-thru's back to my website. You will notice I don't even put a logo or links in my signature.

For those of you who do list your logo and links in your signature ~ why do you do that again?... Right,... Who chooses the moderators of this forum anyway. I guess if you're working for free, there will be a lack in quality.

I "was" truly here to be part of a network of writers... Promos and plugs out of posts.. After this post and the above responses... not anymore. Thanks, and good luck. Really.

2) I, as well as many companies, NEVER list the company name in job and intern postings for many reasons. It helps to weed out people who are not serious about their art, craft, or wanting to practice and learn. Funny, I didn't receive any responses from my post here ... But I posted in another site, received and am still receiving 50 replies a day.

My final statement is, if you find my post too frank or too rude.

Well, that is the kind of welcome you gave me. So see ya...
