writing subsidies anyone?
Heya peeps.
Need some words here. Ages ago I heard of subsidies for writers. Like a grant you get for writing. Does anyone here know of any that I could apply for/ or does anyone use any?
Though I might well be confused and these things may actually not exist at all. My bad :/

Not many of those exist any more, but I would check with your local arts council. In my town they often give money to writers with specific projects in mind. They also fund publications featuring local writers.
