Free Subscription to Writer's Digest

You can get a free one year subscription to Writer's Digest when you sign up as a member of TheNextBigWriter workshop site. They're also running a novel contest where the winner gets a $2,000 professional line-edit review of the winner's manuscript.

The "$2,000 professional line-edit review" is by iuniverse, so in all honesty is probably worthless, I've seen work they've edited before. They're a vanity press, after all; their primary interest is not in literature but in parting below-par writers from their money.

And you don't mention that you charge for people to post their work - "As low as $3.33
per month."

So that 'free' subscription to Writers Digest (available direct for less than $20) will actually cost $40. So apart from a magazine subscription I don't want or need at twice the normal price, what can you offer me that I can't get free elsewhere?
