Written or writing a horror novel? Read here!

Hi there
My name is George, I used to post here a lot but rarely do anymore as I don't write much fiction. What this thread is about however, is that I'm writing a pen and paper roleplaying game in the genre of horror. This will be self published under my imprint, Helvete Studios.
I'm looking for someone that has written, is writting, or wants to write a horror novel as a tie-in to my game. This too will be self published.
I make no promises of riches or fame as this is, in essence self publishing, but I think it's a better deal than publishing it yourself. The novel will have a pre-existing fan base and will be promoted with the game.
The money made from sales will go to the author of course.
If you're wondering what I get out of this, every product under my game line supports my game, be it a novel or a supplement.

I hope this is under the right subforum, sincere apologies if not.

Edit: I thought I'd throw this one out there as a feeler, but like Industrial said, you guys will probably need some more info. Here goes:
The game in regards to setting(which is the important part in regards to writing a novel) is very traditional. It's basically about any kind of horror movie, book or comic you're seen. It aims to provide the means to play anything in the horror genre. Of course this isn't all. The game is about somewhat badass investigators that hunt and take care of monsters and boogeymen. I'm terrible about explaining, but here is a small list of inspirations:

Supernatural(TV series)
Hellboy(comic and movie)
Planet Terror(movie)

Hey, I have been writing horror for awhile. In fact it's all I write lately. I'm not promising anything until I know a little more about what you want.

If it sparks anything I'll let you know if you decide to post along what your really looking for.

A horror game?

Have you played DOOM, my friend?

A pen and paper role playing game sounds like a bit of an anachronism - do people do that any more?

I think getting the book tie-in is a little premature. Finish the game, sell it, get a good and loyal user base, then think about the book. Or find an existing (and successful) book, and speak to the author about getting rights to produce the game of the book.

But either way, in this day and age, I'd be suprised if a non-screen based game could make much of an impact.

PS Just checked your website. Excellent stuff, but the Helvete clothing link is broken.

People play roleplaying games. I'm surprised you think otherwise! Sure it's a niche hobby, but check out companies like Wizards of the Coast and White Wolf(who just launched their new game lines, 5 of them). Pen and paper rpgs is an industry like any other.
I'm looking for someone in advance so that the book can come out after the game, but before interest dies down. It won't do anyone any good if the novel comes out a year after the game.

Thanks for the comments, the Helvete Clothing thing isn't quite ready yet!

I'm sorry I lost my interest, I might get to thinking about it later. I'm sure there are probably others interested. If I change my mind I'll post something here.

Good luck with your game and novel.

I am an amateur writer, but I love to write horror. I would be happy to help you out with this if you wanted. You could check out some of my work by looking at the threads I've started which are linked in my profile, I believe.
