Flash Me Magazine (Flash Fiction)
is proud to present its second FLASH FOR BIG CASH fundraiser contest!
The contest will begin January 1, 2008 and will run until February 15, 2008. Three monetary prizes will be awarded to the top three stories. Three honorable mentions will also be selected. All six winners will be published in a special PDF issue, and all six winners will receive a year's subscription to Flash Me Magazine (an $8 value!).
The entry fee is $5 (US currency) per story. This is a fundraiser contest, so a portion of all the proceeds will help support the magazine. All entrants will receive a copy of the special PDF contest anthology announcing our winners.
Stories may be from any genre, but must be between 250 and 750 words. You can enter as many stories as you like, but each story must be sent in a separate email and a separate entry fee is required for each story.
1st Prize: $100.00
2nd prize: $50.00
3rd prize: $25.00
3 Honorable Mentions: No monetary prize.
All six winners will be published in a special PDF contest anthology. They will receive a copy of the PDF contest anthology for free, delivered to the email address we have on file. They will also receive a year’s subscription to FMM free!
Please note: In the event that the Fundraiser Contest is cancelled due to lack of participation, all reasonable measures will be made to return paid entrance fees.
In addition to entry fees, donations to FMM are also being taken at the same time.
