I randomly stumbled upon this site this morning.

It looks like it has some great generators, writing prompts, and tips based on the methods of some pretty well-known authors.

NANOWRIMO inspiration - Cure writer's block with creative writing games - brainstorming toys - poetry generator - character name generator

I hope someone else also finds it useful; I know I'm getting a kick out of it!

I tried that random poetry generator. I had a good laugh over this.

All arid beside the vapors
We condemn hot keys below the water
Be luminous. The devil is no more
Evil and rabid beneath the water
I destroy bright leeches among the land
I reach! The Knave has gone
So sensuous beside the tomb
We poke dream-like snakes against the mist
Tighten up your wig! The sin was good
backlit hesitant
a long way from home
nothing to lose
From which dreams
the victim
come singing
all through his life
