Photography book publishing
I'm looking for publishers for a photography book, and wanted to get some opinions on what is considered a fair royalty from photography book publishers. I assume that royalties are different for different types of books, it seems that 10% is quite typical from computer and fiction publishers, but I have been getting lower 7% from photography book publishers (some of these university presses). Is this typical, and how negotiable are these numbers?

I think you should ask this on a photography forum to get the best advice. Try photo.net for starters.
