Professional proofreaders & editors
Does anyone have any experience using a professional proofreader or editor for their work? Or any thoughts on using one? If you have used a professional, what did you pay and what did they all do?

I'm just trying to gather as much information about this as possible, thanks.

They aren't proofreaders as such (but may be able to suggest) but Martha and Phil O'Connor are very highly regarded as book doctors.
