Short Story Challenge 2008
Writers compete to see who can produce the best short story (2,500 words max.) on an assigned genre and subject in one week. Cool idea, but even with cash prizes, I wouldn't pay to submit a story for a contest.

a $35 entry fee seems kind of steep... and I have never heard of the LLC that is doing this contest, anyone else heard of them?
