I'd like to draw your attention to a new arts project called 'Calling America'. It's a joint production that my brother and I have created and it's based on the act of storytelling.
The site presents stories told by real people from real places across the United States. In celebrating these localised stories, part of our aim is to get a different taste of America than the one portrayed by mainstream media.
We run an open submissions policy so If you're based in the US, or are a former resident, then please feel free to submit a story.
