The Palace Flophouse is a new project I've been working on. It's technically a blog, but I'd like it to be the start of an ezine. The Palace Flophouse is a place to post and celebrate all forms of Japanese poetry, and Japanese or nature-oriented artwork.
Right now it's a full five hours old. I'm pretty much going to post anything ya'll give me, so don't be stingy. Obviously, I'm going to use some discretion, because Japanese poetry is easy to write--hard to write well. Artwork would be amazing, because I'm not artist. Photography (even linked with poetry--modern haiga?) would also be more than welcome.
Don't even think about pay.

This is just for fun. Hopefully this site will be a relaxed, low-stress area. This isn't for serious publication, just for sharing and reading. Hopefully the quality of the work will generate a fairly large readership.
There's a little more info at the site (palaceflop.blogspot.com -- or it's in my sig), but not much. At least check it out, especially if you're into Japanese forms.
Haibun, anyone? I'd love to post more than just a monotonous string of haiku.
cheers
Ben
