looking for publishers of state specific titles
I have a nonfiction book that is suitable only in a specific state (it's a legal guide, but for laypeople, not lawyers). I'm having trouble finding publishers that are interested in books of value in only one state. It is a large state, though, so I'm sure there are some publishers out there who would be interested, I just need some help locating them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Send a message via MSN to mammamaia
go to your largest local bookstore [or the library] and find similar books... look inside and you'll find the publisher info... then, query those publishers...

and/or, you can query the university presses in your state...
