I've been published in an anthology of poetry, that's it. My goal is to have my first novel published, but only time will tell on that one.

sorry to burst your balloon, kyle, but if that was any of the poetry.com type of 'anthology' things, it doesn't count as being really 'published' since it's a scam to get those who submit their work to buy the books... and the books are never sold in book stores...
i wish you the best of luck with your novel...
as for me, in my old money-making days, i had columns, short stories, articles and essays published [and paid for], along with the odd advertising copy [did a series for valentine's day chocolate lollipops for hershey once, and got a case of the yummy li'l things, as well as a check!]...
now, i do nothing for money, but occasionally i let some of the better freebie e-mags publish my essays and poetry and write articles for websites here and there, on request [also for free]...

And thanks for the best wishes. : D

Technically, I'm a published illustrator, but it's really just one caricature of Richard Nixon published in one of my uncle's textbooks, and I co-drew it with my brother. Whatever, I'm in high school...I've got time to publish.

I would suggest that most people who are earning money from being published, are too busy maintaining that income to spend a lot of time on a forum.
Me? Nothing published, but I did have some poetry printed in a University magazine in the dim, dark ages. Later this year I will have a thesis 'published'.

whereabouts, mike?... if you can still remember... mine were so many decades and a life ago, they're gone with the wind, memory-wise...

Check my website, there's a small selection there and my 'about' page lists some of my credits.

Not yet, unless you count my column in my high school paper. Soon, though, I'm sure of it! lol!

Thanks - kooky was kind of the look i was going for. It's due a revamp soon - I'm thinking of a deco-ish, Aubrey Beardsley look.
This is another site I've done recently I'm quite pleased with - http://www.terrimolina.com

ooooh!... DO IT!!!
let me know when you get it done... i love beardsley's stuff and that whole era's 'look'... had a couple of story books with his illustrations in my old life's 2,000 volume library... i'm especially fond of erte and bakst... had some of the former's posters among my art collection and actually found 4 of the latter's signed ballet costume sketches in the paris flea market!
can't wait to see what you're gonna do next...
hugs, m
