A literate blogger is someone who has something interesting to say, and says it well, on a regular basis.
Less than 1%, I'd guess. The percentage is probably the same on myspace - dross is dross, wherever you hide it.

it's mostly used by visual artists, but there is writers there as well.
And it looks great.
