Where to Start

I've just finished the first draft of a fantasy novel, and am beginning revisions. I want to start researching the publishing world, and agents, etc, but I'm not sure what to start with.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I feel overwhelmed by everything it seems I need to know before starting to look for an agent, so what should I start researching first?

Thanks very much,

Gwen

Selorian is an unknown quantity at this point
Pick up a copy of 'Writer's Market' from the library or a bookstore. It's an excellent resource for finding markets to submit to as well as agents.

http://www.anotherealm.com/prededitors/ should have most of the information you're likely to need on agents and publishers.
