Bwhaha! That's how I actually laughed when I read that. It's freggin' hilarious how much this dude is convinced he invented this 'pulse pistol' thingy. How would the guys @ GW have found out about what you were writing?

The weapons in Farscape (2002-2005) are all mostly pulse weapons: pulse pistols, pulse rifles etc.

I researched a little. I thought GammaWorld came out in early 80's, it was the late 70's, 1978. RPGing has been around for a while, and so has the pulse pistil.

Whoa whoa whoa there Jay, did you read the 'fluff'? Well, if you had, then you'd know that the pulse pistol goes waaay deeper than that. I'm convinced he did invent it. Piss on GW, dirty theives and liars if you ask me.

I'm gonna invent a silencer for the shotgun. Nobody rip off my idea okay?
No, seriously though.....All it takes is your idea to slip out to the wrong person, and pow...you have no feet to stand on.
Happens at my work all the time.

do you ahve any idea how many wepaons out there are called pulse pistols? lets say somewhere in the hundreds. now about half of those pistols are complete different ideas just with a common name.
s for how they got it, i posted my work on their fan fic site.
it isn;t only the consept of the pulse pistol they ripped, it is the way it is used and by who, when, where etc. right down to the letter.
edit: black hawk i am pretty sure that silencers can't be built for burst weapons like a shotgun.

pulse pistols have been around for a while.
Remember Quake 2? That came out around 96 or 97.
Unreal also had a pulse pistol...An upgradeable one too. I think it was Unreal..one of those fps'es.

I played a handful of games with "pulse pistols". Not to be a dick, but atleast in the gaming world, I doubt your idea of it is original.
