Please Share Your Agent/Editor Experiences
I recently went to a conference where I was able to pitch my work to an agent and an editor. It was a nerve-wracking experience, but I found it helped me gain a better appreciation for the way the publishing industry works.
I'd like to know about your experience sitting across the table from an agent or editor. What was it like? What sort of advice did you get? What did you learn? If you've been through a "pitch" before, how will you approach it next time?
