www.romancenews.com - Dedicated to POD Romance
As a quick introduction, I am a long time writer of all types of stories and on www.romancefanfiction.net. I have just written my first POD Romance, Bermuda Hearts: A Bennington Hall Legacy, which is due out next month through iUniverse.com. In the process of getting the book actually in print, I discovered there are a number of Romance POD writers out there, but few places devoted to them... hence I am restructuring the site http://www.romancenews.com and devoting it to the world of Romance POD. (It is just being built, but the basics are already in place.)
I have contacted several of the POD publishers - and bless them, they are offering their support. Getting writers to the publishers isn't the hard part, its the group support, writers groups and getting the works to market that is the challenge that faces todays POD Romance Writer. My goal is to simply create a community to help writers grow, support, learn and interact as the industry evolves... because I truly believe that now that technology has met creativity, we are on the cusp of an Evolution in Publishing! I am hoping that this will become a place for romance writers, no matter what type of romance you write, to share ideas, tips, highs and lows, stories, swap ideas, meet friends and support each other because it is not an easy world out there.
All the best!
Jen
