Any Sites For World Building?
Hey! I'm looking for some sites on world building. Most of the ones I find are just about making maps and such, and I've already done some basics on those, but I'd rather have something like a questionnaire about the world that I'd have to fill out.
Any suggestions for anything else like character building/specie building/whatnot are also welcome.

Thanks, though, this site looks pretty helpful.

Teflon, thanks for the link. I am working on building my own world as well. The link you sent has been a great help. Thanks again.

I am glad to see this many scientifically inclined people here. There is a lot of physics and chemistry to consider on the site's curriculum.

Be aware though - if your imagination is currently saturated with literary activity, it might be drastically seduced, a la Dungeon and Dragons, into the world-building, courtesy of that site.

Speaking of D&D...a site on campaign design that's very helpful for world design in or out of the game.

When it comes to world building, had you ever considered maybe using your imagination? It's that thing writers do.

I think what kalrarii is asking for is more of an aid for the creative process than a world thatis pregenerated. Let's face it, you should have a checklist when creating something as large as a world.

It is what I've done, and I have a pretty clear image of the entire place, but it's nice to go and see if there's anything I've missed. I'm only a kid really, so there's a lot of things out there I wouldn't think I'd need to know.
And you said it, Dresdor. ^_^
