What should I do?

I sent a manuscript to a publishers with an SAE but when they sent the rejection slip they didnt return the story. I emailed them about it but they won't reply, I'd really like it back too because I have to spend about twenty euro or more whenever I need something printed, not to mention all the money I wasted in sending the SAE.
All in all it's just plain rude too.

To be honest....it's your fault.

The publishers have no OBLIGATION to return rejected manuscripts.

Even though you have an SAE on it....they probably will never give it back to you.

So next time..it would be wise of you to just print more than one copy of your manuscript

Unless you specifically request it, give them the proper postage to send it back, and all that - consider every ms. you send as recylcable. It sucks a bit to be sure. When you say SAE - do you mean SASE? if you didn't send postage, there's no WAY you're getting it back.
