Thank you...

Johbertie,

Thank you very much for the information and the opportunity.

Guys, these separate the men from the boys... Oh, sorry... and the women from the girls, too. Sharpen your pencils and drag out your best work or sit down and create your best.

This is what a REAL writing contest looks like and save for a rare few, is truly the only sort of competition that will lend merit to your credentials, as I've heard them referred to on the forum. I'll stack third place or an honorable mention in this contest against every freebie ever mentioned on this forum as far as 'credentials' go. Forgive my 'tone' but this is the sort of 'writing competition' where the rubber meets the road. The notice is a little late in coming but Johbertie no doubt had to find us where in essence it is our responsibility to have found him or her. Besides, most of you should have something in the wings that you've been just dying to send out into the world. Now is the time.

Dear Amusing,

It's really encouraging to hear your comments and I appreciate your call for writers to come forward and submit their work. We are always eager to receive stories that are well written, engaging and original.

I came across this site by chance and I'm glad I did as it offers a wealth of information for writers and is very user friendly.

Good luck with your writing endeavours and we look forward to continually being of service.

Johbertie
