Anyone have any thoughts on Author's Den?
I found this site: http://www.authorsden.com and wondered if anyone here on the boards uses the site and if so what results they're getting. I'd appreciate any feedback you might have.

I have not heard of the site before. I did check it out and it seems like a good place to get to know other writers. I will definitely have to look more into it.

I've never used it either, but it looks like a cool site. Thanks for the link.

doesn't look all that good to me... it's amateurish in setup and style, and i don't see what the purpose is... neither agents nor publishers will troll the net for work, or to find new writers, so it seems to be only a mutual-admiration society sort of thing... and don't overlook the fact that once you've posted your work there, you can't sell it!...

Indeed - everything that appears on the site is, effectively, published. It seems to be a fairly pointless site to me - not much of a resource, not an e-zine, not somewhere agents and editors will go within a mile of... not much point to it at all. But takes all sorts.

Authors Den started out as a discussion group on msn.com A group like so many others, where people who write and those who read can share thoughts on books and authors.
Did not know they now have their own website!
