TheYoungDenzel is on a distinguished road
To all Science-fiction/Fantasy Writers

Good morning/afternoon/evening to you all,

Having only been a member of this site for a little while I'm not sure how large the science fiction/fantasy fanbase is, but I have been informed that there is a sufficient number for me to post the following request. My formal request is for those who have the desire to see how the writing community views their work in comparison to others, to join the Fantasy Powers League (hereafter known as the FPL.)

"Who would win in a race between Superman and the Flash?" "Who would win in a fight, the Juggernaut or the Hulk?" Questions such as these and many others spawned the website Comic Book Universe Battles, which focused on answering these questions through a voting-based system. However, soon the members of this site began to wonder how well their own creations would fare against other creator's characters. And so the FPL was born.

The FPL is a writing based website that allows the members to pit their creations against others in a "duel". The winner of each match is decided through the voting-based system. Over the years the characters in the FPL have evolved from strictly superheroes and supervillains to protagonist and antagonist for the multiple novels concerning the FPL and its characters. (Most of these novels can be found through a link on the website.)

As successful and enjoyable as the FPL is, people have lives outside of the internet. And so an influential number of members eventually "graduated" from the FPL to focus more on their own lives. Left with only a few participating members, the FPL has slowed down immensely and is in danger of losing the few active members it has.

If you have an interest in creating major/minor characters in your own novel, and perhaps collaborating with some of the members already at the site and contributing to some of the other novels, then I would eagerly suggest that you at least visit the site and then make your decision to join or not.

Here is the link for the website: www.electricferret.com/fpl

Thanks in advance for anything you can contribute,

-The Young Denzel
