Hello?? Anyone?
This is Penelope calling on all poets to submit something to Sacred Twilight {take a boo} for publishing consideration. I can personally guarantee (with no modesty) that your poem will get a thorough review and be treated with respectful consideration. Being an Editor is personally rewarding and I'm posting this shameless promotion in the hopes I'll become a bit busier.

I read in the submission guidelines that a mailing address was required for payment. What does that mean? Is ST a paying market now, or does one pay to submit one's work?

Ilan, I don't know other than you don't have to pay to submit to Sacred Twilight. I do know that when my poem, Helter Skelter, was accepted (before I was Poetry Editor) a written notice was required to declare myself the author. Perhaps there will be an uncoming change but it wouldn't be me doing the paying. Unless I missed something in the small print.

Sacred Twilight was indeed a paying market, but for the time being, has gone to the non-paying side of the coin. The addresses were needed for contracts and payment to be sent to the author (we wouldn't accept payment to publish a piece...ever). We're inclined to use an electronic contract now, but for legal reasons, we do require an address.

Good to know. I shall submit when the computer with my writing has internet.
Eventually, hopefully.

Penelope, I feel your pain (or anxiousness, as is more likely the case). I check my 'zine's e-mail constantly in hopes of receiving new submissions. I have this theory, that if I stopped checking it all the time, we might actually get new submissions, but the simple fact is I CAN'T STOP!!! Hopefully, you're not as bad as me.
I'd send you something but my poetry is awful, and so you'd probably prefer it if I didn't .

My pain? Actually, I'm thrilled to report that I received a fabulous poem!
I check once a day, when I remember to.

Yay for fabulous poetry. Issue two of Sacred Twilight was quite good; I'm sure that issue three will be impressive .

Stacy, I really hope the next issue is every bit as good now that I'm on staff and it's now going to go to print.
Ilan, thank you.

It's going to print? Where to be sold?
And do you contact those that are accepted?

The first print issue will be in February 2006. As of now, it will be available in limited markets (mostly in independent bookstores and other locations of that type), through subscription, and on the net.
All writers who submit will be contacted once their work has been reviewed, no matter if accepted or not.

Really? Ok, I'll look at the site and check if I "fit". I would love to contribute. Thank you.
