Running Press, a hot publisher

Read a little something somewhere that named four small publishers as thriving in the shadow of the big guys. It was Soho press, Ten Speed, Source books and Running Press. I found all of them in the Writer's Guide except for Running press. Does anyone know why they are not listed in the Writer's Guide?

I went to their nice website and found how to prepare a manuscript for them, but no information whatsoever on submitting a query. What's up with them? Are they trying to hide from people like me?

that's funny... 'cause i just went there and found this:

Quote:
How to Submit Your Proposal
When submitting a proposal to Running Press, please note:
  • We do not accept submissions or query letters via e-mail.
  • We are not responsible for materials sent with your proposal that become lost or damaged.
  • Please do not send original photographs, slides, or artwork, one-of-a-kind dummies or mock-ups, or irreplaceable items of any kind with your proposal. Running Press is not responsible for the return of such materials.
  • Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) with your submission so that we may send you a reply.
  • If you send materials you would like us to return to you, we ask that you enclose sufficient return postage. Once again, please do not send any original or irreplaceable materials-we receive dozens of submissions each week and cannot guarantee the return of materials, even when postage is provided.
  • We try to respond to all submissions within six to eight weeks.

...what 'writers guide' are you looking in?... uk version, or 'writers market' in the us?...
